Dr. Bock, specialist for foot and ankle surgery, was interviewed on Austrian TV about „osteoarthritis of the foot“. As a foot specialist Dr. Bock keeps with his knowledge up to date and presented an alternative screwfixation for certain surgeries with screws made of bone material (shark screw®). The advantage of those screws lies in the fact that the integrate with the patient’s own bone and do not have to be removed. After more than two years of experience with this type of screw the results are very promising for several kinds of surgeries within the foot and ankle.
