In this context, Dr. Bock organized, for the second year in a row, the traditional winter conference of the Austrian Society of Foot Surgery (www.fussgesellschaft.at). This year's subject was all about sports injuries of the foot and ankle.
During his talk at a national and international conference on orthopaedics in Vienna, Dr. Bock talked about a study carried out by him in which he demonstrated that surgery on flatfoot deformity promises not only good short-term, but also long-term results.
Dr. Bock found out that the success after surgical treatment of hallux valgus surgery even holds after many years.
